Requirements

Western agrees to consider for admission to the Faculty of Science and grant transfer credit to graduates of the Environmental Technology Program who meet the following requirements:

 

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required on all courses taken toward completion of diploma;

 

• A minimum grade of “C” is required in each course listed for transfer credit consideration;


• No longer than 5 years should have elapsed between conferral of diploma and admission to Western (exceptions will be considered on an individual basis).


Admissions decisions are within the sole discretion of Western and are not appealable. Applicants who meet the requirements set out above are not guaranteed admission under this Agreement. The decision as to the number of students who will be accepted in any academic year may vary from year to year.

Bachelor of Science - overall average required at Western: 60% and cumulative average required at Western 60%

  • Honors Specialization in Environmental Science and a Minor in Chemistry / 4-Year* / 12.0

Honors Bachelor of Science - overall average required at Western is 65% and cumulative average required at Western is 70%

Cancellation Policy

a) This Agreement is effective 1 July 2015 and shall continue in force unless terminated by either party as set out herein.

 

b) Either party may terminate this Agreement upon three months' written notice of termination to the other party. No applicants will be considered for admission after the date of such notice.

 

c) Students accepted by Western under this Agreement prior to issuance of a notice of termination by either party shall be permitted to complete their studies under the terms of this Agreement.
