“Credit for credit” transfer, according to the following outline will be offered to qualified students who have i) been accepted to the transfer program; ii) completed the General Arts & Science Transfer program and are eligible to receive their diploma; and iii) are admitted as transfer students from the General Arts & Science Transfer program at Humber into the Faculty of Arts and Science at the University of Toronto.  Students must have achieved a mark of at least one full grade above passing, usually a 60%, in the below Humber courses for it to be considered for transfer credit.

Note: this credit transfer assessment is based on courses given at Humber College and the Faculty of Arts and Science in the academic year when the agreement was signed and is subject to review during the life of the program.

 

Students accepted into the Diploma to Degree program who complete Arts and Science courses will have the course and mark of those credits retained in their Arts and Science record upon formal admission as degree students to the Faculty, rather than the credits being treated as transfer credits.

Requirements

If you:

- have achieved a grade of 60% in your qualifying course at U of T,
- have completed your two-year GAS college diploma with a CGPA of 3.0 at Humber, and
- receive a final recommendation from your college,

then you are eligible to transfer into degree studies within the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto.

Cancellation Policy

A committee comprised of representatives from Humber College and the University of Toronto, including the Chair of the School of Liberal Arts & Science from Humber and the Registrar of Woodsworth College or their designates will meet regularly to review and assess the program. The Committee will report annually to the appropriate administrative and academic leaders at both institutions.

 

Students enrolled in the receiving institution at the time of any change or notice of termination will be given the opportunity to complete their studies based on the terms of the transfer pathway in effect at the time of their enrolment.
