Graduates with a Child and Youth Care Advanced Diploma will receive 45 credits toward a 3 year Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree.

Graduates of an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology Child and Youth Care program must meet Algoma University admission requirements, which requires successful completion of the three-year advanced diploma with a minimum overall average of B (3.0 GPA) or higher to be eligible for the maximum credit recognition.

The agreement shall be continuous from year to year; however, either party may terminate the agreement if notice in writing is given at least 12 months prior to the date on which termination becomes effective. Students enrolled in the program at the time of notice of termination will be given the opportunity to complete their degree studies within three years based on the terms of the agreement when they commenced their studies.
