Requirements

Graduation from a public Ontario College Diploma program in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent, with an overall average of B/ 3.0 is required for admission consideration.

 

PLUS

 

All applicants must have completed, prior to commencing the Early Childhood Studies program, three one-term (or equivalent) liberal studies courses, at the university level, with minimum B- / 70% grades in each course. One of the lower level liberal studies courses MUST be an English subject.

 

College courses CANNOT be used as substitutions for university level liberal studies courses.  University courses that have been used to fulfill Early Childhood Education diploma requirements CANNOT be used to meet the liberal studies requirements.  In addition, the liberal studies courses CANNOT be introductory level Psychology or Sociology.
