Students graduating from Sheridan College’s two-year Business – Human Resources diploma program will receive credit for courses based on their prior studies to enter the degree with advanced standing. The advanced standing permits students to enter level four of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) degree program.

Advanced standing to level four begins in May of each year and concludes in August if studying on a full-time basis (the summer study term). Candidates for level four advanced standing may also study part-time with intakes available in September, January, and May each year.  


It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that their diploma and degree courses and grades are in compliance with the Human Resources Professional Association’s qualifications and standards for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designations, upon entrance to and graduation from the Fanshawe College Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) degree program.

Requirements

Graduates of Sheridan College’s Business – Human Resources diploma program with a minimum B+ average or cumulative 3.5 GPA or 75% will be eligible to enter level four of Fanshawe College’s Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) degree program.  Applicants must submit a transcript with their application.

Cancellation Policy

All Fanshawe College pathways will have a review date of three years from the date of implementation.  Pathways may have a shorter review date if substantive curriculum changes are made to either the sending or receiving program.  Students enrolled in the receiving institution at the time of any change or notice of termination will be given the opportunity to complete their studies based on the terms of the transfer pathway in effect at the time of their enrollment.
