Program Transfer Search

Graduates of the 2 year Recreation Therapy diploma program will be granted 15 credits toward this 4 year degree.

Graduates of a 2 year Recreation Therapy diploma program with a minimum GPA of 65% are eligible to enter into semester 4 of the Honours Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation degree in the Winter term and can complete the degree in 5 semesters plus 1 work integrated learning term. Students may also start the degree in the Fall term but due to course availability, will complete the program in 6 semesters plus 1 work integrated learning term. Students who start in the winter term will incur an extra fee in Semester 5 of the program in order to complete the degree in the time specified.

How to apply:

Domestic students will be required to submit an application via Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select “degree completion” as their entry semester.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

International students will apply via Seneca’s International Student Web Application, and follow up with their Admissions Advisor regarding their pathway eligibility.  The student will need their Seneca application confirmation number when they reach out to their advisor.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

Either party may terminate this agreement by written notice to the other through the primary contacts, with adequate notice to all in progress students a sufficient minimum time to finish.  At any time, one of the parties may cancel this Transfer Agreement with a six-month notice in writing to the other party.
