Students who entered the Environmental Technician Diploma program in Fall 2020 or later will receive the following 10.0 transfer credits, provided they meet the pathway eligibility requirements:

• 0.5 BIOL 3050H - Limnology
• 0.5 BIOL 3190H - Wild Plants of Ontario
• 0.5 CHEM 1000H - Introductory Chemistry I
• 0.5 INDG 1001H - The Foundation for Reconciliation
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H - Write in Time

*Additional notes: 

• While students are eligible for 10.0 transfer credits through this pathway, only 9.0 credits are applicable to the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Ecological Restoration.
• Students who have completed the Indigenous Perspectives Designation at Fleming are also eligible to receive transfer credit for INDG 1002H - Foundations of Modern Indigenous Life. Students must notify admissions@trentu.ca that they have completed the IPD to receive the credit. Students must still complete 11.0 credits at Trent University to meet requirements.

Transfer credits for students who entered the Environmental Technician Diploma program prior to Fall 2020 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this agreement, students must:

• Successfully complete Fleming College’s Environmental Technician Diploma;
• Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.

Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs. 

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
