Students beginning studies in the General Arts and Science - Liberal Studies Foundation Certificate since Fall 2020 will receive the following 5.0 credits:

• 0.5 PHIL 1200H – Critical Thinking
• 0.5 PSYC 1020H – Introduction to Psychology Part 1: Experimental and Biological Bases of Behaviour
• 0.5 PSYC 1030H – Introduction to Psychology Part 2: Social and Personality Perspectives
• 0.5 SOCI 1001H – Introduction to Sociology I: Critical Foundations
• 0.5 SOCI 1002H – Introduction to Sociology II: Exploring Social Life
• 0.5 unassigned English Literature credit at the 1000 level
• 2.0 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level

Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the General Arts and Science - Liberal Studies Foundation Certificate prior to Fall 2020 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis. 

To qualify for this agreement, students must have: 

• Successfully completed Georgian College’s General Arts and Science – Liberal Studies Foundation Certificate; 
• A minimum overall average of 75%.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
