Students beginning studies in the Biotechnology Diploma program since Fall 2024 will receive the following 7.0 transfer credits:
- 0.5 BIOL 1030H - Foundations of Cellular and Molecular Biology
- 0.5 CHEM 2410H - Introductory Analytical Chemistry
- 0.5 CHEM-ERSC-FRSC 3410H - Methods of Spectral Analysis
- 0.5 CLIM-ERSC 1050H - Introduction to Climatic Change Science and Policy
- 0.5 MATH 1001H - Precalculus Mathematics
- 0.5 unassigned Biology credit at the 1000 level
- 2.5 unassigned Science credits at the 1000 level
- 1.0 unassigned Arts credit at the 2000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Science credit at the 2000 level
Transfer credits for students who began studies in the Biotechnology Diploma program prior to Fall 2024 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.
Exigences
To qualify for the block of transfer credits, students must have:
- Successfully completed Loyalist College's Biotechnology Diploma;
- A minimum overall average of 75%.
