Students who entered the Ecosystem Management Technology Advanced Diploma program prior to Fall 2017 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information regarding transfer credits received through this pathway.
Exigences
To qualify for this agreement, students must:
- Successfully complete Fleming College's Ecosystem Management Technology Advanced Diploma Program;
- Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.
Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

Students must complete the following 10.0 credits at Trent University to fulfill requirements for the Environmental and Resource Science degree:
- 0.5 ERSC 2220H - Environmental Assessment: Chemical and Laboratory Methods
- 0.5 ERSC 2230H - Environmental Assessment: Sampling and Analysis
- 0.5 MATH 1051H - Non-Calculus Statistics 1: Elementary Probability and Statistics
- 0.5 credit from the following:
- 0.5 ERSC 1040H - Earth's Physical Processes and Environments;
- 0.5 ERSC 1050H - Introduction to Climate Change Science and Policy;
- 0.5 ERST 1030H - Human Geographies in Global Context;
- 0.5 SAFS 1001H - Introduction to Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems
- 0.5 credit from the Trent School of Environment Capstone Course List
- 3.0 additional Environmental and Resource Science credits at the 3000 level or beyond
- 4.5 additional credits, including at least 0.5 Math credit

- Choice credits must include at least 2.5 science credits to fulfill requirements for the Bachelor of Science (Honours).
- Trent University also offers a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Environmental and Resource Studies. Requirements for the Environmental and Resource Studies degree differ from those listed above. Students interested in pursuing the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) are referred to the Academic Calendar for further details.

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
