To qualify for this agreement, students must:
- have successfully completed Fleming College’s Early Childhood Education Diploma program;
- obtained a minimum overall average of 75%;
- self-identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit.

*NOTE: The Bachelor of Education - Indigenous is a competitive entry program. Admission to the program through the articulation agreement is not guaranteed.

*Additional notes: Students interested in pursuing the Bachelor of Education - Indigenous degree at the Intermediate/Senior (I/S) level are required to fulfill teachable requirements. 5.0 credits are required for the first teachable and 3.0 credits are required in the second teachable subject. In order to fulfill all program and teachable requirements, students are required to complete additional credits beyond the 18.0 outlined in this agreement. Students interested in completing a single major may be required to complete credits in addition to those listed under Article 6.3. If a single major is achieved, students will qualify for a Bachelor of Arts or Science, as well as a Bachelor of Education at the end of their studies. Completing these additional credits may extend the degree completion time, depending on the major chosen. Indigenous Studies is the recommended major due to transfer credits received and courses completed in the Bachelor of Education - Indigenous program.

The agreement will be reviewed annually, or sooner in the event of major curriculum changes in either partner’s programs. This agreement may be terminated by either party. In this case, notice of one year is required. In the event of termination of the agreement, every effort will be made to ensure that students currently enrolled in the program will not be affected.
