Students who entered the Fish & Wildlife Technician Diploma program in Fall 2020 or later will receive the following 10.0 transfer credits, provided they meet eligibility requirements:

• 0.5 WRIT 2002H - Write It Up: Effective Communication
• 1.0 unassigned Environmental and Resource Science credit at the 3000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Biology credits at the 1000 level
• 1.5 unassigned Biology credits at the 2000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 1000 level

*Additional notes:⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ While students are eligible for 10.0 credits through this pathway, only 9.0 credits are applicable towards the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Ecological Restoration.

Transfer credits for students who entered the Fish & Wildlife Diploma program prior to Fall 2020 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this agreement, students must:

• Successfully complete Fleming College’s Fish and Wildlife Technician Diploma;
• Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.

Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs. 

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

• Students are encouraged to complete 1.0 credit in summer terms to complete the program in two years of study, as course overloading may not be permitted. Students are referred to an academic advisor for degree planning assistance.

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
