Students entering the Protection, Security and Investigation Diploma in Fall 2019 or later will receive the following 7.0 credits, provided they meet eligibility requirements:

- 0.5 FRSC 1100H – Introduction to Canadian Justice
- 0.5 INDG 1001H – The Foundation for Reconciliation
- 0.5 PSYC 1020H – Introduction to Psychology Part 1: Experimental and Biological Bases of Behaviour
- 0.5 SOCI 1001H – Introduction to Sociology I: Critical Foundations
- 0.5 UNIV 1004H - Reflective Writing and Critical Engagement
- 0.5 WRIT 1001H – Write in Time
- 0.5 WRIT 2002H – Write It Up
- 0.5 unassigned Gender and Social Justice credit at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Political Studies credits at the 1000 level
- 0.5 unassigned Policing and Community Well-being credit at the 2000 level
- 1.0 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
*Additional notes: Students who have completed Fleming College's Indigenous Perspectives Designation (IPD) are also eligible to receive transfer credit for INDG 1002H - Foundations of Modern Indigenous Life. Students must notify admissions@trentu.ca that they have completed the IPD in order to receive the additional credit.
Transfer credits for students who entered the Protection, Security and Investigation Diploma prior to Fall 2019 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.
Exigences
To qualify for this pathway, students must:
- Successfully complete Fleming College's Protection, Security and Investigation Diploma program;
- Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.
Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs.
Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

- 0.5 POST 2012H - Democratizing Canada: Contemporary Issues
- 0.5 POST 2231H - World Politics
- 0.5 POST 2232H - Globalization: An Introduction
- 0.5 credit from the following:
- 0.5 POST 2351H - The Political Imagination I
- 0.5 POST 2352H - The Political Imagination II
- 3.0 Political Studies credits at the 3000 level or beyond in addition to the above
- 2.0 Political Studies credits at the 4000 level
- 0.5 Political Studies credits in addition to the above
- 4.5 elective credits
*Additional notes: Courses without specified year levels must include at least 1.0 credit at the 3000 and/or 4000 level(s), and no more than 0.5 credits at the 1000 level.

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
